Our annual end-of-summer go-karting event was this year hosted at Daytona in Milton Keynes. The track layout was the international setup, over a kilometer long at 1150m. We were out last on track for the night-time event in the brand-new Karts, featuring front and rear LED and brake lighting. After a 10-minute qualifier, we were flat out for a 50-minute race. There were numerous yellow flags, and lots of bumper to bumper action, but once the race got going, the racing action could begin. There were a lot of battles fought, but in the end the fastest lap was set by Ray Zahreddine at 1:14.949, with the race eventually being won by Sam Wood.

Track Day, Donnington Park, May 2014

The competition was strong for our evening track day session at Donnington Park that took place in May 2014. Our car line-up included three of our very own RSR-tuned cars: a Mk2 Audi TT, Mk1 Golf GTI and Toyota GT40, as well as an Aston Martin DB9 and a VW Golf R Mk6. The evening session was very well respected by all drivers on the track and resulted in some stunning laps!

Donnington is a very fast and flowing track with a few challenges, our favourite being Coppice corner, an uphill approach with a blind right-hander leading onto the back straight, followed by the sharp Esses. The performance of our cars’ braking, steering and tyres meant the day was thoroughly enjoyed for many laps on end.
